Located in the valley of the river Isère and surrounded by the mountains, Grenoble hosts one of the best French universities with an international reputation in science and technology


HOW TO COME TO GRENOBLE?

Grenoble is easily accessible from Lyon Saint-Exupéry or Geneva Cointrin international airports via direct shuttle connections (1 hr from Lyon Saint Exupéry, 2 hrs from Geneva Cointrin, tickets available at the airports).

 

A direct TGV train line also connects Paris to Grenoble in 3 hrs, from the main train station (Gare de Lyon) or the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle international airport.

 



VENUE

The winter school takes place on the University campus Grenoble. The venue is 5 minutes' walk from the "Bibliothèques Universitaires" tram station following the dotted path on the map.

 

All lectures will be hosted in the laboratory LEGI:

Lunches will be served at the Martin's café, in the center of the campus.

 



HOW TO COME TO THE CAMPUS?

The university campus is accessible via two main tram lines (B and C, about 15 minutes from the town center). The nearest tram station to the venue is "Bibliothèques universitaires"
