On the 2nd of May 2017, the SIMAP, 3SR and the CMTC organise an afternoon conference on X-ray tomography.
Four presentation will be given by researchers from Grenoble to make a focus on the different techniques using X-ray tomography as a powerful research tool in material sciences.
- Alessandro Tengattini, 3SR : NeXT: Neutron and X-ray Tomography.
- Pierre Lhuissier, SIMaP : X-ray tomography in material sciences: overview of the possibilities at the lab scale and on big instruments
- Sabine Rolland du Roscoat and Edward Ando, 3SR : Microtomography of discrete and continuous materials: recent progress and perspectives at the 3SR
- Frédéric Charlot, CMTC : FIB-tomography: principle and examples
The conference will be held at the Besson amphitheater, from 2pm to 4pm.
