Located in the valley of the river Isère and surrounded by the mountains, Grenoble hosts one of the best French universities with an international reputation in science and technology

How to come to Grenoble?

Grenoble is easily accessible from Lyon Saint-Exupéry or Geneva Cointrin international airports via direct shuttle connections (1 hr from Lyon Saint Exupéry, 2 hrs from Geneva Cointrin, tickets available at the airports).

 

A direct TGV train line also connects Paris to Grenoble in 3 hrs, from the main train station (Gare de Lyon) or the Roissy-Charles de Gaulle international airport.

 

Grenoble train station is 30 minutes away from the campus by tram (line B).

The winter school takes place on the University campus of Saint-Martin-d'Hères

The campus is 15 minutes away from Grenoble town center by tram. The venue is 5 minutes' walk from the "Bibliothèques Universitaires" tram station following the dotted path on the map above.

All lectures will be hosted in the laboratory LEGI: Building K, 1209-1211 rue de la piscine - 38400 Saint Martin d'Hères

MIDDAY MEALS

Lunches will be served in the Galilée Building: 1270 rue de la piscine - 38400 Saint Martin d'Hères (across the street, right the opposite the LEGI building)

 


Main tram lines

PUBLIC TRANSPORT
The university campus is easily accessible via two main tram lines (B and C). The nearest tram station to the venue is "Bibliothèques universitaires"
